Amol Saraf
I earned my degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Arts, Mumbai, India in 1987. My 35+ years of career is spread internationally at India, Japan, Sweden, China, Russia etc. for various art events such as art residency, workshop, exhibitions, public art and now for past 7 years across various states in USA.
Till date I have participated in numerous, individual and group exhibitions and public art projects on international level and he has numerous international achievements to his credit like Award for Outstanding Achievement by Colored Pencil society of America.
I have been selected for many art projects like mural projects, residencies, children art festival, workshops, seminars, awards and the selection were based on the merit of my work. I have a long experience of public art projects where I have created huge wall murals for varied agencies throughout the USA and other parts of the world. My artworks including paintings, murals and relief work artworks are in collection of eminent clients from around the world.
I was one of the only 4 artists invited to be part of Gulfton Asphalt Art Project, Houston, TX, I was one of the 4 artists selected for Montclair Center BID mural project , first Indian artists selected and invited for “Guess Artists in Residence” by Jonkoping Municipal Corp. Sweden and very recently he is the one selected for City Pasadena Mural Project “Revive”, and Earth Day Mural Program by Discovery Green, City of Green Bay Paint in Parks mural project, one of the only 3 artists selected for the pioneer “Rain Paint Mural” project by Capitol Hill District, Seattle, one of the only 8 artists selected and invited for the 798 International Children Art Festival, Beijing and so on.
